TEST PREP PROFILE: Justin Menda

Ready to learn the history, philosophy, and practice of an experienced professional in the test prep industry?

Meet Justin M. Menda, who has been a tutor and academic coach for 11 years. He holds a B.A. in psychology and a Master’s in education from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Master’s in biomedical science from Drexel University. Through his work on standardized test prep and academic support, he uses his background in cognitive psychology to help students meet their goals by playing to their talents and developing skills they can use anywhere.

Justin began as a tutor at a premiere Philadelphia-area test prep firm. In addition to quickly becoming top tutor talent, he became a go-to tutor for students struggling with motivation and stress, created and taught custom classes for school clients, and created innovative methods for tutor selection and training.

Justin has been freelance for over 4 years. His clients still include both families and institutions, but they have ranged from third graders to adults. For all of them, the mission is the same: to reach beyond academic prep and test prep to life prep.

Outside of work, Justin is a car enthusiast, self-development enthusiast, happy husband of 11 years, and delighted father of two young girls.
